Bakewell Community Project – Support Dogs

Our practice is joining over 40 other local businesses in participating in the Bakewell Community Project – Building Bridges. The aim of the project is to build strong relationships between businesses and organisations for the benefit of the residents of Bakewell.

We have chosen Support Dogs as our local charity – an organisation that is dedicated to training dogs to transform the lives of people with epilepsy, physical disabilities and children with autism. Support Dogs has provided invaluable help and support to a number of our patients, enabling them to lead a fuller and independent life. Without such support a routine visit to the dentist would simply not be possible.

Support Dogs receives no government funding and relies on donations and fundraising to be able to continue to transform peoples lives. We have placed a collection box on our reception desk if anybody would like to make a donation to this worthwhile cause.
