Sarah qualified as a dental nurse in 1985 and has been a valuable member of our dental team since joining the practice in 2005. Sarah is one our Senior Dental Nurses and is also our Dental Health Educator and runs our Preventative Dental Unit where young children are taught the importance of oral hygiene and diet. This forms a key element in our aim of preventing tooth decay and oral disease and reducing the need for invasive dental treatment.

Sarah regularly attends courses to enhance her professional development and is qualified to carry out fluoride treatment and to take dental impressions.

When Sarah isn’t at work, she can often be found helping her husband on their farm. Her other hobbies include baking, sewing, gardening, and walking.

  • National Certificate in Dental Nursing
  • NVQ Level 2 in Oral Health Promotion
  • Certificate in Topical Fluoride Application
  • Certificate in Impression Taking
